Navigators: ethics and thinking skills for ages 13–18
Navigators is Mentor’s 12-week course for teenagers aged 13 to 18. Each 25-minute session presents a realistic dilemma, such as exam cheating, peer pressure or online privacy, and teaches a named thinking tool like 10-10-10. Teens finish with a weekly challenge and a private journal entry.

Five pillars
Questions parents ask
What ages is Mentor for?
Ages 6 to 18, in two tracks: Explorers for ages 6–12 and Navigators for ages 13–18.
How long is the course?
12 weeks, one lesson a week. Explorers sessions take about 15 minutes and Navigators sessions about 25 minutes.
How does the AI tutor work?
The student answers by voice or by tapping. The browser turns speech into text, the student approves it, and Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, reads the answer and writes a personal reply. Tapped answers don’t use AI.
Is Mentor safe for children?
Real people only appear in a kind or neutral light, and private family details are never repeated back. Safety words pause the lesson and alert a parent, three off-topic or unkind answers end the session, and parents can read every transcript.
